A fast track project consisting of an existing building on two levels requiring a total refurbishment and a new addition to the rear of the property on three levels connected by a new atrium.
With in excess of 4000 m2 of drywall, comprising of Gyplyner system to walls, columns and ceilings, metal stud partitions to toilets including radius walls, independent wall linings and various other partitions. We were given a design concept, which we developed at regular meetings with the architect and main contractor.
One of the more outstanding features of the contract was the barrel-vaulted ceilings to the top floor of the new addition, with roof light features within the curve. This was constructed using MF ceiling system with special radius angles as primary support.
